Le nouveau logiciel malveillant appel\u00e9 TrickBot a attaqu\u00e9 le Coventry Local School District la semaine derni\u00e8re.\u00a0 L’infection du logiciel malveillant qui a envahi le syst\u00e8me plus t\u00f4t dans la semaine n’a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9e que vendredi, lorsque les syst\u00e8mes ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 planter.<\/p>\n

Le personnel informatique, en collaboration avec le Federal Bureau of Investigation, s’est efforc\u00e9 de trouver la source du logiciel malveillant<\/a><\/strong> qui avait affect\u00e9 non seulement leur infrastructure informatique, mais \u00e9galement le syst\u00e8me t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique de l’\u00e9cole et les syst\u00e8mes de chauffage, de ventilation et de climatisation.<\/p>\n

Le danger de cette infection \u00e9tait extr\u00eame et cela apr\u00e8s avoir pris en compte la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre des \u00e9tudiants. Mme Lisa Blough, la directrice de l’\u00e9cole a annonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> qu’il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de maintenir l’\u00e9cole ferm\u00e9e lundi, car les syst\u00e8mes n’avaient pas \u00e9t\u00e9 restaur\u00e9s malgr\u00e9 tous les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pendant le week-end. Le personnel a cependant \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 \u00e0 se rendre au travail pour aider \u00e0 la restauration de toutes les infrastructures.<\/p>\n

D’o\u00f9 provient cette infection?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Craignant que l’un des \u00e9tudiants ait pu \u00eatre \u00e0 l’origine de cette infection, ce n’\u00e9tait en fait pas le cas et le coupable a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 un ordinateur situ\u00e9 dans les bureaux du tr\u00e9sor local \u2013 il s’agissait d’une souche de logiciel malveillant appel\u00e9e TrickBot.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 quel point Trickbot est-il dangereux ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but, TrickBot \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 voler les d\u00e9tails bancaires pour acc\u00e9der aux comptes bancaires des clients.<\/p>\n

Il y a environ trois ans, TrickBot s’est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 et il acc\u00e8de d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes critiques, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement par l’envoi de spam. Comme avec tous les m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques, les emails sont partag\u00e9s presque imm\u00e9diatement et ce qui commence comme un seul ordinateur infect\u00e9 se propage rapidement \u00e0 l’ensemble du syst\u00e8me jusqu’\u00e0 ce que toute l’infrastructure ne fonctionne plus.\u00a0 Il n’est pas rare non plus que les personnes malveillantes louent des syst\u00e8mes infect\u00e9s \u00e0 d’autres qui cherchent \u00e0 faire tomber les syst\u00e8mes des entreprises, des \u00e9coles, des universit\u00e9s, etc.<\/p>\n

TrickBot n’est pas le seul logiciel malveillant<\/a><\/strong> \u00e0 utiliser cette tactique. Emotet est aussi connu pour utiliser une tactique similaire \u00e0 celle de Trickbot.<\/p>\n

Toutes les organisations sont pri\u00e9es d’\u00eatre extr\u00eamement vigilantes face \u00e0 ces menaces qui entra\u00eeneraient la d\u00e9faillance de tous les syst\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n

Ces menaces permanentes ont vu le travail des chercheurs en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 augmenter rapidement alors qu’ils continuaient \u00e0 chercher des moyens efficaces de lutter contre ces\u00a0 attaques<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

C’est la rentr\u00e9e des classes pour les \u00e9tudiants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sur une note positive, le Coventry Local School District est revenu \u00e0 la normale mardi apr\u00e8s que le personnel informatique de l’\u00e9cole ait r\u00e9install\u00e9 plus de 1 000 ordinateurs.\u00a0 Comme toute infection par un logiciel malveillant, elle se propage rapidement d’un ordinateur \u00e0 l’autre, ce qui a pour cons\u00e9quence que l’ensemble du r\u00e9seau cesse de fonctionner.<\/p>\n

ZDNet a contact\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s scolaires, mais celles-ci ont refus\u00e9 de faire d’autres commentaires sur la situation, sauf pour dire que l’\u00e9cole avait repris et que tous les syst\u00e8mes fonctionnaient normalement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
